The Cameronian Boys
Back to the original name after Dan Allen retired, The Cameronian Boys. After many years of ministry, the original group was unable to continue singing. Tommy Criscoe went on to sing with Eastern Sonrise and the other members were content to sing in Church. Tommy left Sonrise to pursue a solo ministry and has been very successful in doing so. Mike Snead began to sing in a few outings with Tommy, and both had been asked to join other quartets. After much prayer, they felt it was time to sing with a quartet again, but felt God was leading them to reorganize the Cameronian Boys. Knowing it would be impossible for Alan Snead, the groups original lead singer, to rejoin the group due to his battle with lung cancer, we began to pray for God’s guidance once again. Dan Allen had sang with us in the Community Choir and we asked him if he would be interested. He said yes. We talked to Alan and he revealed to us that Dan had been on his mind also to sing the lead. With Dan and the addition of Baritone Kenneth Lynch who had joined the Quartet in early 2000’s, we began to practice, and The Cameronian Quartet was born. Not sure what to expect, it didn’t take long to see and know that God had His hand upon us. We’ve been together since July 2011 and we’re looking forward to where God will lead us in this new journey. We covet your prayers and thank you so much for all the support you have given over the years. In the summer of 2024, Dan Allen retired, and until God sends us a new Bass singer, we'll be known as "The Cameronian Boys"

Mike Snead ( Tenor )
Mike has been singing Gospel music since 1993. He joined the Cameronian Boys at the departure of the group’s original tenor, Earl Bland. Mike was born and raised in Rockingham, NC and is a lifetime member of Cameronian Presbyterian Church. Married to wife Lisa since 1983 and has 2 children. Andrew and wife Meggan, Aaron and wife Jessica and Weston, his only grandson. Mike gave his life to Christ in 1993, shortly after joining the Cameronian Boy’s ministry. He enjoys bowling, golf, days at the lake and working out at the gym. “ I’m the last person I thought would ever be singing gospel music with a quartet, but God got a hold of me and I’m so thankful for this opportunity to serve”. My story is no different from anyone else, “ I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see”. I’m so excited about this new adventure that God has put before the Cameronian Quartet.
To God be the Glory.
